Abstract

The study analyses City Integrated Photovoltaic System and its ability to achieve a targeted green energy in composite climatic where demand variation in high. The focus is on cities in high density states. It takes Smart City - Aligarh as a case and assesses the maximum renewable production capacity and need for optimization in a variable demand. It also analyses the socio-economic characteristics of the city and suggests best financial plan for a targeted result and comments on the current renewable energy program in India. The outcome of the study will help setting targets for renewable energy programs in the Indian context.
